tart cherry bourbon grilling sauce

  1. In a saucepan, reduce the bourbon by half on medium high to high temperature. 
  2. In a food processor, combine the reduced bourbon with cherry spread and salt and pepper. 
  3. Spread on grilled meat near the end of grilling, or in the last hour of smoking if preparing meat on a lower temperature smoker. The recipe can be doubled or tripled as needed.
